Hydroponics Farming Program
This social enterprise tackles food insecurity in Saginaw by utilizing indoor vertical hydroponic farming to provide fresh, locally grown produce year-round.
In addition to supplying the community with healthy, organic fruits and vegetables, the Hydroponics Farming Program offers vocational and entrepreneurial training for individuals facing employment barriers. By fostering sustainable local agriculture, it promotes healthier eating habits and reduces dependence on grocery stores, which are often out of reach in the USDA-designated food desert of the area.
Community Wellness
Promotes healthier communities by increasing the consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Vocational Training
Teaches individuals all aspects of Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA), including planting, maintaining, and harvesting crops. Participants also gain skills in customer service and sales.

Provides participants with the tools and knowledge to start their own businesses within the agricultural industry

Supports the community by reducing food transportation costs and promoting local farming, thus contributing to environmental sustainability.
