Many already know Dr. Taylor as one of the leading and loving educators in our region. Her experience, wisdom, passion, and heart for students make her an incredible addition to the VCD family.

At the Bishop Marvin C. Pryor Impact Center, Dr. Taylor will lead the creation of educational experiences that combine academic growth, exposure, exploration, creativity, and opportunity. This is bigger than a title—it is an assignment. She will help strengthen academics, support educators, engage families, and expose children to opportunities that can change the trajectory of their lives.

Dr. Taylor is a wife, mother of four, woman of faith, and lifelong learner who believes purpose is not simply something we discover; it is something we live. Faith comes first, and family is everything. As a basketball mom and coach's wife, she has spent more hours in gyms than she can count. She minored in mathematics—and yes, she does math for fun—but baking is her happy place.

VCD will announce additional members of the Impact Center team over the next week. We are building a team of passionate educators, leaders, and professionals who believe every child deserves access to opportunity, exposure, and the tools needed to excel.
