Michigan Leaders Visit VCD’s Newly Renovated Bishop Marvin C. Pryor Impact Center

August has been a busy and exciting month for Victorious Community Development (VCD)! Earlier this month, we were honored to welcome Michigan Secretary of State and gubernatorial candidate Jocelyn Benson to the newly renovated Bishop Marvin C. Pryor Impact Center.

Senator Chedrick Green, State Representative Amos O’Neal, and esteemed educator Dr. Erica Taylor also joined us for this special visit. Secretary Benson toured the Impact Center and learned more about VCD’s work to strengthen families, empower children and youth, and expand opportunities throughout our community.

During the visit, Secretary Benson emphasized the important role community centers like the Bishop Marvin C. Pryor Impact Center play in connecting families and children with valuable resources, support, and positive opportunities.

We are grateful to all our special guests for taking the time to visit, learn about our work, and experience firsthand the vision behind the Impact Center.
