Dr. Willie L. McClure Jr.
He holds a B.S. in Human Biology from Michigan State University and an M.S. in Physiology from the University of Michigan. He earned his M.D. from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
Dr. McClure completed his Internal Medicine residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, where he also served as Chief Resident. He is currently a Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellow at the University of Michigan Hospital.
A licensed minister since the age of 12, Dr. McClure is known for his relatable and compelling delivery of truth and motivation. He is grateful to be actively engaged in his home church, Word of Life Christian Church in Flint, MI. His ministry is deeply integrated into his approach to medicine—emphasizing compassion, justice, and the dignity of every person. He views his role as a physician as a natural extension of his spiritual mission to serve, heal, and uplift.
He is married to the former Alexis C. Pryor, and together they have the joy and privilege of raising two daughters. They live in Ann Arbor, MI, where they enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling as a family.
